Hrants: Your tax dollars at work?

Senator Levin:

I was amazed by this article on the barring of psychiatrist Andrew Feldmar from crossing from Canada to the U.S. based on what has been described as a "googling" during a random search.

I am writing you because millions have been spent on Homeland Security and a border guard is possibly using a public internet search instead of the integrated intelligence gathering system that has been promised by the merging of these various agencies. Not to mention the reason being use of a narcotic (LSD is not) as part of his research 30 years ago when it was not illegal to do so.

I'm not saying Dr. Feldmar should not have been prevented from entering the country. My issue is that the intelligence gathering technique, if true, is sophomoric. The citizens of this country deserve better.

Oh, come on. At least they didn't look him up on wikipedia.
