With the announcement that the Visor Treo is shipping, I've been giving a lot of thought to either purchasing a Treo or buying a phone that can provide internet access. Neither of these choices seems to be viable. The Treo doesn't work on AT&T wireless services yet. This is because AT&T hasn't rolled out GSM. Voicestream is available for the Treo now, but folks in my building are unable to hit the Voicestream cell towers from within the building. There also doesn't seem to be much in the way of choices for GPRS internet phones in Detroit.
