I've also been fumbling around with a plan to upgrade my home wireless network to WiFi. The library replacing the cramped Loving branch will have 802.11b internet access. I haven't had a laptop for a long time. Perhaps an iBook will kill two or more birds with one stone. Wireless access, firewire (for the as yet unpurchased miniDV), BSD unix, Microsoft office, etc.
