Hramblings: Los Tres Amigos changes hands
Los Tres Amigos quietly changed hands and is now El Camino Real. The decor has been changed to neons, the uniforms are a bit long on "flair" and has the feel of a chain. The new owners appear to have had a long run in Toledo with a restaurant of the same name. Food quality seems to be similar if not a bit better. The menu is quite a bit shorter. The train that circles the perimeter of the main dining room, the train whistle and the three ponies are still there. No details are forthcoming about the switch.
Los Tres Amigos struggled to get a liquor license and when they finally got one struggled with the increased volume that came with it.
