After more than two years of doing digital photography, its nice to go back to low tech. This is the first reasonably usable shot from my Holga medium format camera. These are known for construction issues that make for light leaks, issues with film warping, strange focus problems, etc.

Heh. For those that miss the "Holga/Diana look", there's Lensbabies -- http://www.lensbabies.com/, the first downgrade announced for DSLRs.
Heh. I spied (with my little eye) one J. Hritz driving his V50 westbound on I-94, just before the Telegraph interchange, in the rush-hour traffic yesterday. I was the guy in the big, red Durango (yes, it does have a Hemi), passing you on the left.
Geez, that car is tiny, compared to all the other folks in their SUVs and pickups. Doesn't driving a subcompact like that in interstate traffic give you the willies?
"Bob, there's a wheel coming at us!!" (spoken by a nervous passenger in a tiny Toyota back when I was in high school, when a big rig cut us off on the interstate)
Thank God for Mike Myers and Big Georges.
I've always wanted a medium format camera. While I'm not getting the crisp images I was hoping, there are some interesting things that just "happen".
