Hramblings: Smithee Awards 17 in Ann Arbor at a new venue (updated)

From the Smithee website:

One more year and the Smithees can vote--but fear not! This year all you Ann Arborites will have a chance to vote in Smithee 17 on Saturday April 19th, 2008. From Superheroes to Cyborgs, Sentient Venus Flytraps to Vampyre-Hunting Gangstas there's enough fun for everybody. The Badness starts at 7pm at Modern Language Building Auditorium 3 and goes until it's done or we rip a hole in the time-space continuum with all this schlock. Either way, drop in for a category or for the whole thing, and of course "enjoy" Iron Chef Smithee's "delectable" Unhealthy Snacks and Drinks of Color Not Found in Nature. Reminder: The Smithee Awards can contain clips with violence, nudity, and strong language--often at the same time--and may not be a suitable venue for young children.
